General Math
Many of you would like to practice your multiplication and division combinations, so that you know them automatically. Here are some sites to sharpen your skills with operations:
• Meteor Multiplication Multiplication fact practice. If you like this kind of game, click on “More Arcademic Games” to practice other operations. There are even a few word games.
• Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Good for multiplying by multiples of 10, and using estimation to select the best answer.
• Sum Sense This is a good game for division facts. You have to place the cards to make a true division sentences.
• Moles Fun multiplication facts practice (but not from the point of view of the moles!) For better practice, choose the “enter mode”, but you have to be fast!
• Math Facts Choose a level (up to 10 or up to 20 can be done mentally; otherwise, you’ll need pencil and paper), click all the operations you want to practice, and choose a time limit. (2 or 3 minutes are plenty.)
• Math Baseball This one is fun for practicing multiplication or addition. A pencil and paper come in handy if you want to hit home runs!
• MathMagician This site is great for timed math fact practice. You should choose Level 2, and mixing the operations is more interesting. You have to answer 50 questions as quickly as you can, and you’ll get your score when you are finished.
• Millionaire This multiple choice game allows you to practice solving a variety of types of problems.
• Jeopardy This is Jeopardy, math-style!
• Bowling In this game, you are bowling. Click on pins greater or less than a certain answer to get a strike.
• French Fries This one has you eating french fries that give a certain answer. It has a fun soundtrack!

I really enjoyed playing the games Moles and Fries. My sister enjoyed playing fries too! (she did the adding level since the multiplication was too hard.) I hope you put even more cool sites onto our blog Ms. McAloon! Especially sites that have good soundtracks.

I like to play Millionaire and MathMagician. Fossweb Variables sites helped so much answering my questions about variables and it solved my problems for ‘what should I play if i go on to computers’ I will try to help if I can
