My favourite science experiment was the terrarium one. It was my favourite because we got to grow plants and it was fun to plant them and watch them grow and putting the soil and rocks in and put the water in. The thing I didn’t like about it was that we had to write the observations. It was to bad that our group’s died. I think that we put too much water. So because of that we had to restart. Our group’s terrarium was doing great until we had to take the top of so the plants wouldn’t scrunch up. Since that happened our terrarium isn’t doing so well (Sad, I know).
We grew barley, pea, radish, corn, and clover. All of them grew except for barley. I think it didn’t grow because the heat in Thailand is so hot. I think barley is good in cold weather but not too cold. If it were colder in Thailand I think they could have survived.
This was a really good experiment, if YOU get the chance to do it, try it.

These are my best free kick taking tips. Do you want to be famous for free kick taking? If you do well great because these tips will get you popular. If you listen you have a 0.5% chance of making it to glory or as most people say it to Hollywood in this case you will make it to the big time. Take these tips and you will definitely get the ball in the back of the net!
If you want it high in the air. Place the ball on top of high grass. If there isn’t any put it on the highest place you find near. Make sure that the high grass isn’t far away from the actual foul. Or else the ref will catch you. If there is lots of tall grass everywhere just scoot the ball a bit forward and the ref won’t catch you. When you are placing the ball down on the ground don’t slam it down just place it on top of the grass lightly. Don’t do this. When you are taking the shot just RELAX if you don’t relax you will be in trouble. If you think about the free kick too much you WILL miss the shot.
If you want to curl the shot you have to take diagonal steps backwards. When you run up to the ball don’t sprint like mad. Kind of run slowly and hit the ball with not the toe but with the side of it.
If you want it low you can slam it down. DON’T put the ball on high grass put it low grass. Run up to the ball straight on and hit the ball in the middle and kind of downwards. But not too far down at the ground or else you’ll hit the floor. Next hit it smoothly and RELAX and if you don’t RELAX you’ll miss the shot. Also don’t rush it. And another thing, you have to not try to hit it hard hit it with power but not strength. but don’t hit it so soft it rolls a centimetre. You don’t want that.
That is all the effort I can put into this post. Please read my other posts by clicking on my name on the home page at the right. Please read and comment and I will read the comments you wrote.

The Story Of Rocky Whitman
Ring! Ring! Ring! The school bell rang. The gang of Stephan, Rocky, Bobby, Steve, and Harry were the coolest gang ever. Everyone knew them.
“Yes!!! I got an A+ on the test what did you get?” Rocky said loudly.
“Yo, I got a C+” Stephan said
“I got a big fat D” Harry said
“ I got a C” Steve said
“Ha Ha” Bobby said, “I got a B-”
THE NEXT WEEK
Ring! Ring! Ring! “A- in science right on!” Rocky said
THE NEXT MONTH
Ring! Ring! Ring! “Another A+” Rocky said AGAIN!!!
Every time Rocky got an A+ or at least an A on a test he would run out the door so fast he would almost every time hit the edge of it. While the gang were still in their seats. And they looked suspiciously at each other.
Two days after the science test, Rocky, Stephan, Bobby, Harry, and Steve went to the 7-Eleven just outside the school. “Hey Rocky go grab us something to eat and get something for yourself.” Stephan said demandingly.
“Okay sure” Rocky said. While Rocky was looking for something to eat, very stupidly Stephan and the gang only went to the next lane. To talk about something very important. Something important, about Rocky.
“Do you guys like Rocky cause I know I don’t because he always gets his tests back and he shows off with all them. AAARRRGGG!” Stephan said. Rocky heard every word and he had an angry look on his face. “I mean we cant just say Rocky your out we have to make know we don’t like him but not by telling him.”
“Oh so I’m not cool enough I’ll show them.” Rocky said quietly to himself.
JUST THE NEXT DAY
“Today we will have a test,” The teacher said
“AAAAWWWW” everyone whined
“Yes a test” Rocky said to himself.
“Do your best on the test?” the teacher said with rhythm. “The test is multiple choice.”
When Rocky got the paper he started right away.
The first question was.
Can bacteria damage you?
“Of course it can, in fact, I’ve changed my mind it cleans you.” Rocky said.
Next question is.
How?
Rocky answered with, cause it iz lik soap. With no capitals or grammar.
The next question is.
Can you touch your veins?
He answered with nnnnnnyaa ya you can.
A WEEK LATER
“These are your test results children,” the teacher said.
“Yes!!!” Rocky said to himself quietly. As the teacher came round to Rocky, he chanted “F- F- F-“
“Not your best” the teacher said as she placed the paper in front of Rocky, he closed his eyes and turned the paper over and opened. F it read on his paper.
“What did you get on your tests guys?” he asked.
“I got a C+” Stephan said.
“Me, I got a D-“ Bobby said.
“Um, Oh yeah a C-“ said Harry.
“A big fat C” Steve said.
“ What did you get Rocky” Stephan said miserably.
“An F” he replied happily.
“WWWWWWHHHHHHAATTTT” Stephan said
“What’s wrong with it” he asked
“Nothing, but why are you so happy?” Stephan said
“ I thought you wanted me to get bad grades.” Rocky said
“No, it is that you show off and rub it our faces that we get bad grades often.” Stephan said.
“Oh” he said quietly “to make it up to does anybody want to come to my house and study for the up coming test.”
“Ya, Okay, Sure.” they said.
“Ring! Ring! Ring!”
“Yes! A B+” Stephan said wildly.
“Right on an A-” Harry said.
“Oh Yeah, a B” Steve Said with agility.
“WOHO! An A” Bobby said.
“What did you get Rocky” Stephan said happily.
“Mmmm, I got an A+” Rocky said laughing a bit.
Soon Stephan, Steve, Bobby, Harry, and Rocky finished that grade and made new friends in their new classes. But, they were still friends, real, good friends.

I just finished a book called Crispin, it is a great book. Hi my name is Jake. This post is about the Historical Fiction strategies. I’m going to refer to Crispin the Cross of the Lead. This semester in reading was about historical fiction strategies. All you need is:
1. A time period, make sure it is not modern
2. A set of characters.
3. And a historical fiction strategy.
My historical fiction strategy is “ who’s got the power.” This strategy is kind of obvious and is about in a situation, which is important you have to find who has the power. By that I mean who has the advantage.
You can’t just put this: Fred has the power because he has short hair, if he had long hair it would get in his eyes.
But you can put this as one: Crispin has the power because he is skinny, if he were on the chubby side he wouldn’t be able to fit in the space to look out for guards. Of if he were not poor he’d probably be fatter so he wouldn’t be able to fit in the space. There would be not much of a story, it would have to always go Crispin’s way.
See Ya everybody

Did you know that the Wright Brothers flipped a coin to see who fly in the Flyer? Wilbur won and he changed history forever. The Wright Brothers were very important explorers. They are important because they created the airplane. They are also important because they inspire others.
They show others to never stop till you get it right.
For example did Christopher Columbus ever stop when he got to a different country? Even when a lot of his men where dying did he stop “NO!” Another example all the explorers never did stop only unless they knew there was nothing else to explore. The Wright Brothers got the plane wrong in 1900 and they never gave up till they got it right. Just a year later on top of Kitty Hawk hill the Wright brothers worked for hours and hours and flew the Flyer for a big 7 min and 59 sec.
The Wright Brothers inspired others.
They inspired others that there is always something else out there to explore in life, in the ocean, or in space. Modern exploration is just as easy as the Age of Exploration. They inspired Yuri Gagarin to fly higher and faster. He was the first person in space. People make more objects to go in the sea, and in and out of the universe. People are building faster planes that are exactly 115 times faster then the Wright Brothers plane and can hold way more passengers. The airplanes today can go up to 5 times the speed of sound.
Wilbur and Orville Wright are two of the top ten explorers. They were amazing.

Yesterday my class and the class next-door went on a field trip to the ancient city.
I was an explorer because my team and I went to find golden treasure in hidden places. It was very fun. The hidden treasure was a golden piece of china. It was an animal or Buddha. If I went back I would explore what the china was, if it was china. I wonder what it was worth.

You can look at the picture to help you understand the text better because if you don’t know what the text says you can look at the picture to see what it is talking about.
You can use the table of contents to show you what you will learn about and to find the topic your looking for. You use it when you are flipping through a book for a certain topic.
You can use the glossary when you are stuck on a word that you don’t know the meaning of and don’t want to look through the dictionary look at the glossary. It is at the very back of a Non-Fiction book.

I have made another writing post and podcast. Click Jake 2 for my podcast. Below is my writing piece.
THE LAST MINUTE TURN
“Watch out for that little Tuk Tuk ”I said a bit concerned. My dad and I were in the car going to Central Plaza. I saw a Tuk Tuk coming the other way to us and, indicating to go left. (Her right). I was hoping the Thai Tuk Tuk driver would wait for us to go and then she would go. But what would happen if she didn’t.
The little Tuk Tuk driver turned left (her right). Oh No she turned at the last second which left us with only one option. “OH NO we’re going to crash” I thought. I held my breath in case of an air bag. I wished it was all a dream but it wasn’t.
“RRRRRR” the car skidded all the way to the Tuk Tuk. We skidded for about four meters. My heart was pumping so much. I was shocked. My dad and I hesitated for a moment in silence. Then I felt my heart beat. It was the fastest beat I’ve ever felt in my life.
This was a near death experience for me. I was scared to death. It was scarier then the movies on T.V. I am lucky to be alive. I hope it never happens for real.
