I came to ISB at August. First month is so hard because I can’t understand what teacher said, but Shunsuke is in my classroom. He can speak English little bit so that is so helpful to me.

experiment

We do some experiment of yeast. First we pet in yeas , water and a cookie to the bag. Then we put that bag to hot water and wait about 10 minutes. And measure the volume of gas then put in the bag to hot water again and wait about 20 minutes. Measure the volume again. I think yeast + water + sugar = gas

The best book I think is Stink.

Stink is funny book because main character name is Stink. He is so short his height 3feet and 8 inches!! In my Japanese school the shortest one in my grade is about 4feet. And when he was holding the lizard he slip over! and the lizard jumped some where. Stink think the lizard died but he has a frog………..

One day Elephant and his brother monkey are in the Elephant’s bookshop. They are talking about there pet because they want a cute dog. They are living the same house. They are best friend.

Next day Elephant is eating two hamburgers and finish eating but he is still hunger then he eats five more hamburgers so he is not hunger. His feels sleepy! Then he sleep

When he is sleeping Penguin (customer) get a lot of books. He saw Elephant is sleeping and he steal the book but Elephant didn’t see anything When he wake up and count the comics there are only 200 there are Always 250comics. He thinks how do I find books? I can’t find next day he go to his boss. And he talk to his boss name is Bug. Then Bug said you are fire.

Next day Elephant is eating hamburger it good for him but he feel is sad because he like to work in bookshop. Next month he goes to his brother monkey’s room to get some money. He talks to his brother about Elephant’s job. His brother said “Why you don’t have job?” Elephant said “my boss said “you are fire !!” “OK” Elephant’s brother said . Then he get 5000 dollar and he go back to his room.

Next day he starts looking job again but he can’t find a good job and he go to monkey’s room again and monkey said, “Do you want to work on my high school?” Elephant said “yes” monkey, said, “What kind of job do you want?” “Like in library” Elephant said monkey said “OK I talk to principal” next day he is waiting to call of monkey. At 5:00 Elephant’s telephone is ring. He said “hello” “hey Elephant I found it” he shout “yore salary is 1,000,000$ of each month “ He shout again Elephant is so happy because he find a job! monkey said “next month you could come to my high school”.

Next day to next month he is so happy because HE FIND A JOB. Next month today is 1^st day of high school. He is so nervous. Principal said you need come to school at 5:45 Elephant said “what” Elephant is always wake at 7:40 but he said “ok” but sometime he was late.

0ne strategy that would be useful is the strategy of get thing to know the main character . it is important to know the characters word , action and relation with another characters. One example is from the book Operation Dump the Champ when Oscar make some plants to get rid of Robert . this is an example of the relationship between Oscar and Robert.
You can use this strategy when you read a book.

Thomas Edison is from USA. I think Thomas Edison is an important inventor. Thomas Edison is an important inventor because he invented many things. Thomas Edison is also important because his inventions are helpful.

He invented telegraph. Telegraph is like letter. He invent gramophone. Gramophone is like recorder and it is funny thing. He invented electric light. Electric light is like lamp but its so dazzling. He invented movies. Moves are like a film.

A lamp is a helpful thing because a lamp is light . Then we can study. One hundred years ago they didn’t have lamps. Then about sunset they went to sleep. But now we can wake up at night because we have the lamp!

The moves are helpful because the moves are funny and scary things. The kid want to watch the funny moves. The man and woman wants to watch scary moves I think. I like o watch funny moves.

Now do you agree with me Thomas Edison is important because he invented many things and they are all helpful!!
